- Optimum Torque Reverse (OTR) technology:
- The module is equipped with J. Morita's OTR technology, which automatically measures torque during canal preparation
- If the torque is below the preset value, file rotation continues
- If the torque reaches the preset level, the file's rotation automatically reverses by 90 degrees before resuming the forward cutting direction
- This feature helps to minimize file fatigue and reduces the risk of file breakage
- Simultaneous measurement:
- When used with the Root ZX II apex locator, the OTR handpiece allows for simultaneous root canal measurement and preparation
